In December I started a new job at the University Centre Somerset and thought that three days a week there would afford me plenty of time on my days off to catch up with friends, housework, days out, sketching, painting and more leisurely activities. But it seems that is not to be....
As well as continuing to develop new designs and stock for my little shop in the big shop at The Emporium, Wellington, I have launched an online shop in collaboration with the lovely people at Contrado. They first came to my attention whilst I was studying for my degree and they printed many metres of fabric over the three years including all the fabric for my end of year shows. Most of which found its way into the Emporium in the form of lampshades and cushions.
Having spent the last few days off organising stock and images for the products in the shop today I turned my attention to my website.
It was originally built in the early 90's when I was a full-time painter and had an overhaul during my Uni years to reflect the shift in my work towards textile design.
Now I have graduated and am working freelance I thought it could do with a refresh.
I've tried to make it cleaner in appearance and layout and changed the colours a bit. I've also added a Sign Up form to keep you up-to-date with shop offers or freebies, if you are interested.
So another week has flown by and my Limitless Odeon card has been unused, yet again!
Next week, I'll go to the cinema next week!
Have a great weekend.
