My Little Shop in the Big Shop

posted in: New Designs, Shop | 0

Earlier this month I took the plunge and opened a little shop unit in The Emporium in Wellington.  Housed in a converted chapel it's an eclectic mix of around 45 traders offering gifts and home decor items. Many are made by local artists and designers and together they create an inspiring shopping experience.

So far my range includes soft furnishings, lampshades, ceramics and kitchenware taking designs from my Urban Jungle collection.  It has been great fun seeing my designs printed on products and the feedback has been really encouraging.

I have also been busy making my own 35cm lampshades with brightly coloured interiors, which I love.

Unique Hand-painted Lampshades

As well as my printed designs I have created hand-painted lampshades to co-ordinate which the collection. Some of these have been painted freehand and others I have carved blocks and hand-printed. If you have a particular colour that you would like for your home I would love to hear from you, as I do bespoke commissions too.

The Emporium is open Mon - Sat and has a Late Night Shopping evening on Nov 3rd for the Wellington town Christmas Light switch on ceremony.  Hope to see you there.
