It is nearly the end of another year and I’m struggling to see where it has gone. Uni has kept me very busy and I’m already at the end of the first term of Year Two so I don’t see the pace slowing anytime soon.
As well as my degree work I decided to embark on all four modules of the Art & Business of Surface Pattern Design and completely underestimated how absorbing this would be. Thankfully I was able to download all the lessons and exercises and have been gradually working through them in the Christmas break.
Module Two starts in January so I’m aiming to be up to speed with my new found Photoshop and Illustrator skills by then.
The Surface Design Show 2015 starts in February and I hope to be exhibiting on the Somerset College stand at this industry event. You can check out the details by clicking the image below. Pop along to the stand and say hello if you’re in London.
Between now and then there is much sketching, painting, stitching and making to do. Happy days!
That’s about it for now save to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
